Digital transformation is opening up new business models and growth opportunities for organizations. At the same time, it’s introducing significant risk into every aspect of the business. This is a critical time for organizations to seek out a trusted advisor that can support them through their digital and security transformations. It’s exciting to be part of a company that has a vision for the future, an innovative mindset and a long track record of helping organizations manage and protect their most valuable assets.
Rohit Ghai is Chief Executive Officer of RSA, a leader in cybersecurity and risk management solutions that provides organizations with technology to address challenges across security, risk management and fraud prevention in the digital era. In this role, he drives strategy and execution across all businesses to deliver value to customers, partners and investors while nurturing a collaborative and customer-centric culture.
Ghai also serves as the General Manager of the RSA Security Business Unit, which helps global organizations enhance their cyber resilience and address emerging cyber threats. He regularly advises global customers on their digital and security transformation initiatives and is often cited in broadcast and print media on topics like data privacy, content management, information governance, digital risk and cybersecurity.
Prior to the September 2020 acquisition of RSA, Ghai served as president of RSA during its tenure as a Dell Technologies business. Previously, he served as president of Dell EMC’s Enterprise Content Division (ECD), where he was instrumental in setting a compelling vision, transforming go-to-market and revitalizing the portfolio for the digital era through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Ghai was responsible for all aspects of the ECD business, including sales and services, channel strategy, product development, marketing, finance, support and customer success. He joined Dell EMC in December 2009 to run product development and was chief operating officer of ECD prior to becoming president.
Ghai has experience in both startup and big company settings, with expertise in digital transformation in highly regulated markets, and knowledge across software, systems and security. He joined Dell EMC from Symantec, where he held a variety of senior engineering and general management roles. Previously, he was at Computer Associates (CA) in a number of senior management roles in the BrightStor and eTrust business units, and led the CA India operations as chief technology officer. Ghai joined CA through the acquisition of Cheyenne Software, a startup in the backup and data protection space.
