Rohit Ghai is Chief Executive Officer of RSA, a leader in cybersecurity and risk management solutions that provides organizations with technology to address challenges across security, risk management and fraud prevention in the digital era. In this role, he drives strategy and execution across all businesses to deliver value to customers, partners and investors while nurturing a collaborative and customer-centric culture.

Ghai also serves as the General Manager of the RSA Security Business Unit, which helps global organizations enhance their cyber resilience and address emerging cyber threats. He regularly advises global customers on their digital and security transformation initiatives and is often cited in broadcast and print media on topics like data privacy, content management, information governance, digital risk and cybersecurity.

Prior to the September 2020 acquisition of RSA, Ghai served as president of RSA during its tenure as a Dell Technologies business. Previously, he served as president of Dell EMC’s Enterprise Content Division (ECD), where he was instrumental in setting a compelling vision, transforming go-to-market and revitalizing the portfolio for the digital era through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Ghai was responsible for all aspects of the ECD business, including sales and services, channel strategy, product development, marketing, finance, support and customer success. He joined Dell EMC in December 2009 to run product development and was chief operating officer of ECD prior to becoming president.

Ghai has experience in both startup and big company settings, with expertise in digital transformation in highly regulated markets, and knowledge across software, systems and security. He joined Dell EMC from Symantec, where he held a variety of senior engineering and general management roles. Previously, he was at Computer Associates (CA) in a number of senior management roles in the BrightStor and eTrust business units, and led the CA India operations as chief technology officer. Ghai joined CA through the acquisition of Cheyenne Software, a startup in the backup and data protection space.

Ghai holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee.

Craig Nickerson
RSA Group Chief Financial Officer

I’m excited to help RSA Group and SecurID accelerate their current growth trajectory and be part of the team that allows them to realize their vast potential.

As RSA Group Chief Financial Officer, Craig Nickerson leads the finance, tax, treasury, and purchasing functions for RSA. He is responsible for developing the financial functions that the RSA group requires to deliver value and drive growth. Craig also serves as Chief Financial Officer for the SecurID business unit, helping to ensure that the SecurID team has the processes, resources, and capabilities needed to meet the unique needs of its identity clients.

Craig brings more than 20 years of extensive experience in leading finance organizations for both SaaS and on-premise software companies, M&A transactions, and accelerating business growth. Prior to his roles with RSA Group and SecurID, Craig served as the CFO of AFS Technologies, which was acquired by Telus Communications. Previously, he served as the CFO for several software businesses supported by Goldman Sachs and TA Associates.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Central Florida, where he was a member of the men’s soccer team.

Laura Marx
Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer for SecurID, Laura Marx is responsible for elevating the SecurID brand, setting and executing marketing strategies, driving growth and communicating SecurID’s unique value. She works in close collaboration with other members of the SecurID leadership team to strengthen customer relationships and accelerate business growth by distinguishing SecurID from the rest of the field. Laura brings more than 15 years of global go-to-market, alliance marketing and product marketing experience to her role. Prior to joining SecurID, she served as VP of Global Product and Alliance Marketing at Poly, a company driving more than $1 billion in sales in the digital communications space. Before Poly, she served in leadership positions at Monster, where she led international expansion initiatives for the firm’s media alliances. Laura received an MBA from Boston University in Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

Jim Taylor
Chief Product Officer

As the Chief Product Officer for SecurID, Jim Taylor is responsible for the organization’s overall product strategy, delivery and development. In this role, Jim will deliver the solutions and innovations that will ensure that SecurID achieves its vision to be the trusted identity platform for the world’s most security-sensitive organizations by supporting hybrid workers, deploying modern authentication and accelerating businesses’ cloud strategies. Jim brings more than two decades of identity product strategy, cloud security, SaaS and enterprise software development to the role. Prior to joining SecurID, Jim served as the Head of Product, Symantec/Broadcom. Previously, he ran product organizations at CA, Oracle, NetIQ and Novell. Jim also has experience leading startups in the identity and access management space: he founded Fortefi and served as its CEO and was a senior executive at PassGo Technologies. Throughout his career, Jim has helped organizations successfully secure and adapt to digital transformations and cultivated long-term relationships with leading global businesses.

Greg Nelson
President and Chief Business Officer

As President and Chief Business Officer, Greg Nelson leads SecurID’s global Sales, Marketing, Support and Services organizations. In this role, he ensures an integrated go-to-market approach, delivering the identity and access management solutions that enable the world’s most security-sensitive organizations to stay ahead of cyber threats. Greg is a seasoned SaaS executive and brings more than 25 years of software, data, technology and private equity experience to his role. Prior to joining SecurID, Greg served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Omnitracs, where he led all go-to-market functions globally. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President of global sales at Masergy Communications and Chief Sales Officer at Forrester Research. Greg has also held various senior executive roles within the tech sector, including positions at Giga Information Group, Sterling Software and Texas Instruments Software. Greg earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management Information Systems from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Shannon Paxton
Head of Finance

As Head of Finance for SecurID, Shannon Paxton leads Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and is responsible for business analytics, goal setting and strategic financial planning across the company. Shannon has more than 15 years of corporate finance experience in a variety of operational and analytical areas, including revenue assurance and sales finance. Prior to her current role, she was responsible for FP&A and Accounts Receivable (AR) at RSA, including through the company’s acquisition by Dell Technologies and subsequent carve-out acquisition by Symphony Technology Group and other consortium partners. Shannon continues to serve as Vice President, FP&A for RSA.

Bill Diaz
CEO, RSA Archer
After more than twenty years of working in this space, I’ve become incredibly passionate about risk management software. It’s one of the few technology domains where there’s still an opportunity to go beyond point solutions and provide value across the enterprise. RSA Archer Suite pioneered the GRC / IRM market, and I’m thrilled to help build and expand on its vast potential.

Bill Diaz is CEO of RSA Archer, a leading provider of enterprise integrated risk management solutions. He is responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the RSA Archer business and its growth as part of the Symphony Technologies Group (STG) portfolio.

Most recently, Bill was the CEO of Ventiv Technology which is a leading IRM (Integrated Risk Management) SaaS provider focused on Operational Risk. Under Bill’s leadership, Ventiv enjoyed significant growth leading to a highly successful sale from STG to Tailwind Capital. Prior to Ventiv, Bill was responsible for Oracle's Global Insurance and Risk Management software business. Prior to Oracle, Bill was President of SunGard’s (currently FIS) Risk Management, Insurance and Healthcare software solutions. Prior to SunGard, Bill was CEO of CS STARS LLC which was a leading IRM provider.

Bill has over twenty years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services and Healthcare. He has led five global software firms with a diverse portfolio of products and related services and revenues ranging from $50 – 200M.

Bill received his MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern) University in Chicago in 2004.

John Filby

John is a seasoned financial technology executive leading Outseer’s mission to liberate the world from transactional fraud. Throughout his 25-year career in the FinTech industry John has transformed businesses of all sizes for growth, ranging from start-ups to mid-market to global Fortune 500 companies. His career experiences include serving as President of the Risk & Compliance Division at Fiserv and bringing an award winning suite of transactional risk products to a global market. He also served as a board member at Abrigo, a market leading SaaS business providing risk and compliance solutions to financial institutions.

Matt Sherrill
General Counsel

As RSA General Counsel, Matt Sherrill is responsible for overseeing corporate and commercial transactions in addition to leading corporate legal initiatives. In this capacity, Sherrill also advises senior management on company strategies and direction. Prior to the September 2020 acquisition of RSA, Sherrill served as RSA’s managing legal director during the organization’s tenure as a Dell Technologies business.

Sherrill joined RSA in 2010. Prior to that, he was an attorney at Posternak, Blankstein & Lund LLP in Boston. He began his legal career at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault LLP in Boston. Sherrill earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
