Greg Nelson is Chief Executive Officer of RSA, a global leader in identity and access management (IAM) solutions for security-first organizations. Around the world, more than 9,000 organizations rely on RSA to secure 60 million identities across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Greg is a seasoned SaaS executive and brings more than 25 years of software, data, technology and private equity experience to his role. Prior to joining RSA, Greg served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Omnitracs, where he led all go-to-market functions globally. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President of global sales at Masergy Communications and Chief Sales Officer at Forrester Research. Greg has also held various senior executive roles within the tech sector, including positions at Giga Information Group, Sterling Software and Texas Instruments Software. Greg earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management Information Systems from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

As the Vice President, Head of International Sales, Alaa Abdulnabi leads RSA’s International Business covering all functions in sales and Go-To-Market. In his current role, he focuses on building world-class teams to help partners and customers manage their risk by providing best-in-class Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Alaa has near 20 years of Identity management, cybersecurity, and leadership experience.

Alaa led various technology sales specialists, channel teams, and direct sales teams across EMEA and APJ helping organizations develop effective access assurance strategies, mitigate risk, and scale threat detection and incident response capabilities.

Alaa maintains an active CISSP certificate and is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Electronics Engineering.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Michael Bourgon develops the RSA people strategy with a focus on cultivating the human capital needed to continue driving growth.

Michael brings extensive HR experience to his role, having led human resources teams in organizations across software, healthcare, technology, insurance, media, retail, and other industries. Prior to RSA, Michael served as EVP, People for Elevate K-12, the Chief Employee Success Officer at Llamasoft, the SVP of People & Culture at insight software, and in various other leadership roles.

Michael graduated from the University of Michigan. He lives in Chicago.

As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Robert Hughes leads the Security and Risk Office and is responsible for ensuring the security of RSA products and solutions and the RSA corporate environment, leading the organization’s cybersecurity, Information Security Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), corporate physical security, privacy, product and IT application security functions. Rob has more than 25 years of experience leading security and cloud infrastructure teams, including life-critical operations and business-critical PCI-DSS level 1 transaction processing environments. Previously, he worked in the Philips Home Monitoring division, leading the Security and Systems Design team and co-founded the original Geek.com website, where he served as Chief Technologist. Rob has a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from Brandeis University.

As Chief Marketing Officer for RSA, Laura Marx is responsible for elevating the RSA brand, setting and executing marketing strategies, driving growth and communicating RSA’s unique value. She works in close collaboration with other members of the RSA leadership team to strengthen customer relationships and accelerate business growth by distinguishing RSA from the rest of the field. Laura brings more than 15 years of global go-to-market, alliance marketing and product marketing experience to her role. Prior to joining RSA, she served as VP of Global Product and Alliance Marketing at Poly, a company driving more than $1 billion in sales in the digital communications space. Before Poly, she served in leadership positions at Monster, where she led international expansion initiatives for the firm’s media alliances. Laura received an MBA from Boston University in Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

As RSA Chief Financial Officer, Kevin McAdams leads the finance, tax, treasury, and purchasing functions for RSA. He is responsible for developing the financial strategies, targets, and operations needed to create value for RSA customers and accelerate the organization’s growth.

Kevin brings more than 30 years of experience in financial leadership, business analysis, accounting, and management. He began his career in public accounting for KPMG, after which he spent the next fifteen years working for Fortune 100 Companies in the consumer products, telecommunications, and healthcare technology industries. His more recent experience includes over fifteen years of progressive accounting, finance and operational responsibilities, including seven years serving as a CFO.

Throughout his career, Kevin has helped companies quickly identify opportunities to create value, prioritize strategic initiatives, and optimize their return on investment. Skilled at balancing people, processes, and technology, Kevin transformed and scaled an international finance organization to accommodate more than 250% in growth, resulting in more than 25 acquisitions. Kevin is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

As the Head of Legal, Christopher Mermigas leads Legal and Compliance, and is responsible for minimizing legal risk and costs, reducing litigation exposure, and ensuring legal compliance efficiently, expeditiously, reliably, and professionally. Christopher has more than 10 years of experience in both government and in-house positions, along with a strong background in both cybersecurity and law enforcement. Previously, he served as the General Counsel and Data Privacy Officer for Valid and Assistant General Counsel for the City of Chicago’s Clerks Office.

Christopher brings a proactive legal perspective along with an innovative spirit to the RSA leadership team. Christopher graduated with a BA from Marquette University and a JD from University of Illinois at Chicago Law School.

Shannon Paxton is the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at RSA Security, where she spearheads the development of the company’s financial operating plan and drives ongoing company performance against corporate KPIs. She is responsible for business analytics, financial planning, and lender reporting.

With over 20 years of corporate finance experience in the technology sector, Shannon has an extensive background in leading teams across corporate FP&A, go-to-market FP&A, revenue assurance, accounting, and accounts receivable. She led the RSA finance team through the company’s acquisition by Symphony Technology Group and other consortium partners, including the sale process and carve out from Dell Technologies. Shannon was a key member of the transition team as RSA was separated into four distinct companies, including stand up of systems, infrastructure, and new functions, securing debt financing, and materially transforming the company cost structure. Prior to joining RSA, she worked in revenue assurance at EMC.

Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, and an MBA from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.

She is based in the Greater Boston area where she lives with her husband and two children.

As Vice President, Global Services and General Manger, RSA Egypt Center of Excellence, Karim Raslan leads the RSA Customer Success and Professional Services teams, helping to deliver best-in-class customer support and drive growth.

Karim brings more than 20 years of Global Services experience to his role, having led global teams from APJ to the Americas. As the leader of Professional Services and Customer Success in EMEA, Karim drove more than 150% in Services growth, helping to ensure that RSA customers realize value from our solutions.

Karim has received two master’s degrees, one in Wireless communication and authentication, and an MBA in international business.

As the Chief Product and Technology Officer for RSA, Jim Taylor is responsible for the organization’s overall product strategy, delivery and development. In this role, Jim delivers the solutions and innovations that will ensure that RSA achieves its vision to be the trusted identity platform for the world’s most security-sensitive organizations by supporting hybrid workers, deploying modern authentication and accelerating businesses’ cloud strategies. Jim brings more than two decades of identity product strategy, cloud security, SaaS and enterprise software development to the role. Prior to joining RSA, Jim served as the Head of Product, Symantec/Broadcom. Previously, he ran product organizations at CA, Oracle, NetIQ and Novell. Jim also has experience leading startups in the identity and access management space: he founded Fortefi and served as its CEO and was a senior executive at PassGo Technologies. Throughout his career, Jim has helped organizations successfully secure and adapt to digital transformations and cultivated long-term relationships with leading global businesses.

As Vice President, Controller, Stuart Weigensberg leads the Accounting function at RSA and is responsible for all accounting systems, processes, and controls, along with all financial audits. Stu has more than 20 years of audit and corporate accounting experience within the technology sector. In his current role as controller, he led the data migration of accounting data through the carve-out acquisition by Symphony Technology Group and other consortium partners. Prior to his role at RSA, Stu worked at numerous software and hardware companies in cybersecurity, data storage, HRCM, MarTech, and telematics industries. Stu lives with his wife and two dogs, Moose and Goose, in Massachusetts. His kids live there too.

As the Vice President of Business Development, Irida Xheneti leads the strategy for indirect growth through partnerships and M&A. Irida brings almost two decades of evaluating and advising security technology companies on direct and indirect go-to-market strategy, developing and executing partnerships with ISVs and service providers to accelerate growth. Most recently, Irida led security partnerships at AWS. Previously, she led business development for the security services business unit at IBM Security Services, Qualys, and product marketing at Novell. Irida brings a unique combination of market insight, deep experience in many types of technology and strategic partnerships with a focus on disciplined execution and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate growth. Irida holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and French from Wellesley College and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
