Heartland Business Systems

Heartland History Heartland Label Printers, Inc. was founded in 1991 in Neenah, WI and is a leading manufacturer and distributor of labels and other packaging-related items. In 1992, Heartland Label merged with Alferi Communications to form a new division, Heartland Business Systems. Heartland Business Systems provides technology solutions to corporate, healthcare, education, government and not-for-profit organizations. These solutions include computer networking; technology planning; internet, data center, hosting, monitoring, security and managed services; cabling and audio/video solutions; and software consulting. The merger also allowed Heartland to provide thermal and thermal transfer printer technology and label media to its customers. In 1998 Heartland moved into its present location in Little Chute. In 2000 a 10,000 square foot addition was added to the 23,000 square foot facility. In 2004 Heartland not only added another 10,000 square feet in Little Chute, but also opened a location in Milwaukee, WI and established Avastone Technologies, the programming division that provides custom programming, web site design, search engine optimization and other related services. Heartland has just completed another 16,000 square foot addition in June of 2007 at the Little Chute location which provided 5,000 square feet of office space and 11,000 square feet in the manufacturing area. Today, four divisions of Heartland presently employ 320 plus people. Heartland's broad set of vendor partnerships (including Cisco, HP, Microsoft, and VMware) along with our consulting, service and support capabilities is the most complete in the industry.
