What You Should Know Before You Go


Ready for RSA Archer Summit 2018?
As we put the finishing touches on the conference, we wanted to share a couple of helpful hints to make your RSA Archer Summit 2018 experience even better!

Meet the Expert
Be sure to sign-up for a one-on-one “Meet the Experts” sessions if you would like to discuss specific issues with RSA Archer experts. Meet the Expert sign-up will be located on the first floor of the Renaissance Nashville, in the Event Hub Atrium outside of the Grand Ballroom.

Mobile App
Our mobile app will ensure you have the latest information at your fingertips. The app includes session and scheduling information, maps, event updates and more. Available from your preferred app store starting Monday, August 13, 2018.

Registration & Arrival
Registration is located in the Event Hub Lobby on the first floor of the Renaissance Nashville. Please bring a valid government issued ID with you to pick up your badge. Registration hours:

  • Wednesday, August 15th: 1:00 PM CDT – 5:00 PM CDT
  • Thursday, August 16th: 7:00 AM CDT – 6:00 PM CDT

Offsite Events
Admission to all offsite events will require both your conference badge and a valid government issued ID.

Welcome Reception
The Welcome Reception (sponsored by PwC) will take place at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15th at the Acme Feed & Seed, downtown Nashville. Busses will leave from the Event Hub Lobby entrance starting at 6:30 PM. Busses will run in a loop from the Renaissance to the Acme Feed & Seed until 10:00 pm.

Cocktail Reception
The cocktail reception (sponsored by KPMG) will take place from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Thursday, August 16th. Cocktails will be served across all three floors of the event space at the Renaissance Nashville. The reception will offer attendees the opportunity to visit our Partner Expo and network with their peers.

Customer Appreciation Event
The theme of the Thursday evening Customer Appreciation Event (sponsored by Deloitte) will be “15 Years of Integrated Risk Management Excellence, an RSA Archer Homecoming”. The event will take attendees back in time to 2003, so feel free to dress in your favorite homecoming or prom attire, or maybe your favorite shirt from 2003. The event will take place on Thursday, August 16th at 7:00 PM in the Grand Ballroom at the Renaissance Nashville.

After Hours Party
The RSA Archer Summit 2018 After Hours Party – “Nashville Experience” (sponsored by Edgile), will be all about giving attendees a taste of Nashville. The After Hours Party will take place on Thursday, August 17th from 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM at The Valentine and Tin Roof Broadway in downtown Nashville. Maps will be provided with walking directions to the venues.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does my registration fee cover?


The full conference registration fee includes access to all sessions, the Partner & Product Expo, Welcome Reception, RSA Archer Customer Appreciation Evening event, and all hosted meals. Travel and hotel costs are the responsibility of the attendee.


What meals are hosted by the conference?


The conference will include the following meals:

  • Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening
  • Breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the conference
  • RSA Archer Summit 2018 Customer Appreciation Evening event on Thursday evening


How many attendees are expected at RSA Archer Summit 2018?


With our ever-growing customer base, the RSA Archer Summit has seen rapid growth each year. This year’s conference is expected to host more than 700 attendees.


Are there penalties for cancelling my registration?


If you need to cancel your registration, you may do so at any time before July 15, 2018 less a $100 processing fee. This processing fee applies to all RSA Archer Summit 2018 registrations. Cancellations must be made in writing via email to stacy.sakellariou@rsa.com.


If I cannot attend, may someone from my organization take my place?


If you are not able to attend, you may substitute another person from your company at no additional charge. Substitutions must be made in writing to stacy.sakellariou@rsa.com. Be sure to provide your name and the name of the individual attending in your place.


Are there other hotel options associated with RSA Archer Summit 2018?


Yes, there are plenty of other hotels in the downtown Nashville area within walking distance to the Renaissance Hotel.


Is this event taking place at the same time as the IIA/ISACA 2018 Governance, Risk and Control Conference?


The IIA/ISACA 2018 Governance, Risk and Control Conference will take place earlier in the week from August 13-15 at the Omni Hotel in Nashville. Please view the event site for the full details. We have carefully planned the dates of the RSA Archer Summit so you are able to fully take advantage of both conferences while in Nashville.


What is the typical weather in August in Nashville?


The weather in Nashville can be very warm in August. Average high is 90° F and average low is 72° F. Click here before you depart to check the weather.


Is there a dress code for the conference?


Conference attire is business casual. Meeting room temperatures are kept cool, but the outdoor temperature is likely to be warm. We suggest that you wear or bring layers for comfort.
