Each decade presents unlimited opportunity. 2020 and the years that will follow are no different. As I reflect on the legacy of RSA Archer, I realize that our story has been forged by periods of innovation and change over the past two decades. The product was established in 2000 as Archer Technologies, born as an information security policy management platform. Customers quickly began to realize the power of the configurable platform and the depth and breadth of the platform's early offerings. Ten years later, RSA acquired Archer Technologies. The acquisition led to a period of rapid growth. The customer base grew 10X and expanded to more than 25 countries over a few short years. Very quickly, market leadership was established and in the latter half of the decade, RSA continues to be positioned as a Leader in several 2019 Magic Quadrants, including: Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Vendor Risk Management Tools, Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Risk Management Solutions, and Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Continuity Management Solutions, Worldwide.
As we enter a new decade, RSA Archer along with the collective RSA team is embarking on a new journey and I'm excited to be a part of it. This next chapter comes at a momentous time for RSA Archer. In just the past few months, we've introduced a SaaS offering, modernized the product's UX, introduced regulatory content analysis, third-party security risk monitoring and a data gateway – just to name a few. All of these enhancements empower our customers at a time when risks are expanding due to growing investments in digital transformation. But we're not done yet. We will continue to build our SaaS offering globally, continue to innovate the UX - including an upcoming release of native mobile apps in iOS and Android - and will soon introduce a vendor portal that will reshape how vendor risk management is executed.
Our goal over the next 10 years is to revolutionize the integrated risk management market, further personalize the risk management journey for each of our customers at their pace, while remaining a trusted advisor to you as your organization evolves.
