Microsoft® Intelligent Application Gateway 2007

Formerly Whale Communication's IAG and now part of the Microsoft Forefront Edge Security Solution, IAG is a tool that consolidates multiple technologies, providing a centralized, single entry point for remote access. At its foundation is an SSL VPN that facilitates connectivity for almost any protocol; a firewall to ensure application security and intelligent access; and an endpoint detection mechanism to enhance overall system security. As a result, organizations can publish Web and non-Web applications that customers, partners, vendors, and employees can securely access from virtually any location. Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway 2007 (IAG) now utilizes RSA SecurID authentication for two factor authentication to provide a higher level of security to access network resources.
