Public clouds offer their resources in a shared environment, available to anyone, but certain workloads demand computation be done in isolation. Private clouds provide this physical separation of tenants, though typically at much higher cost. HomeAlone enables users to remotely verify that physical isolation policies (required by highly sensitive workloads) are implemented correctly by the cloud provider.
