RSA Security Delivers Strong Authentication Appliance to Small and Medium-Size Businesses
RSA SecurIDĀ® Appliance Simplifies Deployment and Lowers Total Cost of Ownership for Strong Authentication

Bedford, Mass— RSA Security Inc. (Nasdaq: RSAS) today announced the new RSA SecurID® Appliance, a cost-effective and easy-to-deploy strong authentication solution for small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) worldwide.

The RSA SecurID Appliance is designed to offer two-factor authentication for small and medium-sized businesses.

Designed specifically for organizations with fewer than 1,000 employees, the appliance is a bundled software/hardware solution that allows SMBs to achieve levels of IT security formerly available only to larger organizations. The RSA SecurID Appliance also provides resellers the ability to offer broader two-factor authentication choices to organizations wanting to eliminate insecure, static passwords. The RSA SecurID Appliance is the first in a series of appliance-based solutions from RSA Security, which will provide companies with a simple, secure and cost-effective authentication solution. RSA Security will unveil the new RSA SecurID Appliance during the RSA Conference 2005 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco (February 15 – 18; booth #612).
