Documentum eRoom certified with RSA ClearTrust® web access management to deliver single-sign on productivity and secure collaboration for mutual users
BEDFORD, Mass.— RSA Security Inc. (NASDAQ: RSAS) announced that the company has completed interoperability certification of RSA ClearTrust® web access management software with Documentum eRoom, an enterprise collaboration solution from Documentum, a leader in enterprise content management and a division of EMC Corporation. This announcement builds upon previous strategic partnership and RSA Secured® certification announcements between the companies. Together, Documentum eRoom and RSA ClearTrust software can save organizations time and money with increased productivity by allowing administrators to centralize the authentication and authorization processes and enhance security.
Documentum eRoom is a leading enterprise collaboration solution. It allows project teams to assemble in secure digital workplaces designed to help them work creatively and effectively within the context of a business process. Customers use Documentum eRoom to bring products to market faster, drive down production costs and reduce rework. Collaborative processes and application access can require careful monitoring of what information is being accessed and by whom. The integration of RSA ClearTrust web access management software with Documentum eRoom allows administrators to control access by providing a central means to map Documentum eRoom users, groups, resources and entitlements to RSA ClearTrust software. This is designed to give both internal and external users a single point of authentication and session management, and single sign-on to applications to which they have access. Documentum eRoom also supports the use of the RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication solution for enhanced security.
