The RSA SecurID ComboReader is designed to work as a card or a PINPAD type token with RSA ACE/Server software, RSA ACE/Agent® software and RSA Security’s entire set of RSA SecurID-Ready partners. In connected mode, RSA SecurID ComboReader is a portable PC/SC-compliant smart card terminal. Support for serial or USB connectivity means that users can unplug from a serial connection to a Windows NT workstation at the office, then plug the same device in again at home using USB cable on a Windows 2000 PC. RSA SecurID ComboReader devices come in 2-year, 3-year and 4-year configurations, and integrate readily with smart card products from RSA Security.
